On December 6, the Demo Day (final event) of the IT and digital internship program for girls took place. Trainees, mentors and representatives of IT, fintech and “green” companies shared their experiences and feedback about the program.
The event was opened by Akiko Fuji, UNDP Resident Representative in Uzbekistan, and Saida Yusupova, Director of the NGO Tech4Impact. The main event was the presentations of 23 trainees who reached the finals. They talked about their projects and how the internship went (you can see more in the interns’ videos on our social networks). Many participants received job offers or long-term internships.
At the panel discussion, experts discussed in-demand skills and professions in IT, and also gave advice on career development. We express our gratitude to the speakers:
-Zarina Lukhmanova (School 21),

-Feruza Khamidova (AVO bank),
– Abbos Shukhratov (VRonica).
The trainees were awarded certificates of completion of the program, and the companies and mentors were given certificates of appreciation.
