“Green Business Conference: Women in Tech & Climate” Demo Day and the Conference
within the program “Accelerating Women’s Green Tech Startups in Uzbekistan”

This conference is the final event of the two-year program "Accelerating Women's Green Tech Startups in Uzbekistan”, implemented by the NGO Tech4Impact and funded by the UN Democracy Fund, in cooperation with the Association for the Support of Children and Families of Karakalpakstan.

Green Business Conference and Demo Day of women business projects’ start-up accelerators will be held in Nukus.

On March 6th, we invite you to the final conference of the project "Acceleration of the development of women's start-ups in the sphere of green technologies in Uzbekistan".

On February 12th, we conducted Ideation Bootcamp for 15 teams in Nukus.

Participants learnt about the ways of brainstorming ideas, identifying social problems in their communities, Sustainable Development Goals and functions of mobile phones.

On February 5th, the second day of Ideation Boot camp – seminar on generating ideas for Technovation Girls Uzbekistan projects was held in Tashkent

Teams further discussed the chosen social problems, learnt the communities which encounter these problems. We also started examining how the problems can be addressed with the help of technologies, mobile applications and artificial intelligence.

On February 4th, the first day of our boot camp on generating ideas for the Technovation Girls projects was held at the Center for Advanced Technologies. Most of the seminar was dedicated to teamwork on detecting communities and problems which these communities encounter.
