The Central Asian Week “Women in Science and Technologies” is a specialized regional event with participation of investors, entrepreneurs, innovators and women leaders in their fields, from the 4 countries of Central Asia, Silicon Valley companies and the UK.

In 2019, the event was held on March 25-30, in Tashkent, Samarkand and Nukus.

Session topics: IT, artificial intelligence, startups in science, design thinking, ‘green’ business.

Purposes and Objectives of the Event:

• Increasing the interest of our women and girls in innovative professions, social and business projects;
• Exchange of experience with the colleagues from Central Asia. Strengthening the regional cooperation, where Uzbekistan is the leader and center of attraction;
• Technology transfer;
• Thematic sessions for students, young entrepreneurs, schoolchildren, startuppers, professional specialists;
• Attention to the problems of ecology and sustainable development in Karakalpakstan
