On April 26-28 Tech4Impact delegation in Latvia has participated in the TechChill conference — the main tech and startup event in the Baltics, bridging the gaps in knowledge, skills, and network.
This opportunity is a part of the “Female Founders across Borders” program, organized by Tech4Impact and Riga Tech Girls, and funded by the Ministry of foreign affairs of Latvia.
Startup founders and mentors from Uzbekistan, finalists of the FFAB program, has participated in such sessions as:
– panel discussions on scaling startups, leadership fand growing a startup team, funding opportunities for climate tech startups, impact investment, challenges in FemTech, preparing financial documents for the VCs, commercialization of science startups, community building, and how government of Latvia works with startups:
– startup pitches;
– master classes on customer acquisition, talking to media, metrics for startups etc.
– we have also made connections with founders, speakers, ecosystem builders, NGOs from the Baltics, Nordic region and Israel.
It was an amazing opportunity for our startup founders (from Tashkent and Republic of Karakalpakstan), to learn new skills, meet new people and to know how big tech conferences are organized in other countries
