UniSat Stage 3 is a hands-on educational project aimed at developing engineering, scientific, and research skills among girls interested in space and technology.
At this stage, participants completed a three-month online course on nanosatellite design and programming, followed by an intensive Bootcamp, where they independently assembled and prepared two CubeSats for launch.
UniSat Stage 3 combines theory and practice:
-
designing and assembling nanosatellites;
-
developing scientific missions and experiments (including biological and chemical ones);
-
collaborating with national and international experts;
-
launching satellites into the stratosphere from the territory of Karakalpakstan.
The program is implemented with the support of partners in science, technology, and education — including the Uzcosmos Agency, the American Technological University (AUT), Roscosmos, UNICEF, and the Tech4Impact initiative.
UniSat Stage 3 demonstrates that space is not only about science — it is also about dreams, inspiration, and new opportunities for the girls of Uzbekistan.
