In 2019, Uzbekistan joined to the 50 participating countries for the first time. The mission of the contest is to address the effects of climate change through innovation, invention and entrepreneurship. The contest accepts ideas and projects in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency, food and agriculture, water supply, transport, industrial technology and any other means of combating climate change. At the international finals of the competition, teams will be able to present their business ideas to international investors. The best projects will be posted on the competition website, this is an excellent PR for a project. The top ten teams of the international finals will have access to the Climate-KIC accelerator of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
