The fintech company OSON<\/strong>, in collaboration with the NGO Tech4Impact<\/strong>, is launching the AWE program<\/strong>, which this year will be held for 30 women from the Republic of Karakalpakstan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Earlier, OSON<\/strong> signed a Memorandum of Understanding<\/strong> with the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan<\/strong> to promote women\u2019s entrepreneurship and support the AWE program in Karakalpakstan. This partnership has enabled the company to provide financial support to Tech4Impact<\/strong> for the program\u2019s implementation.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

This marks the first-ever instance of AWE in Uzbekistan<\/strong> being supported by a private business<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs<\/strong> is a unique educational and mentoring initiative designed to empower and support women founders of small businesses.<\/p>\n

Eligibility criteria:<\/strong>

\n\u2022 Women aged 25 to 40<\/strong>, residing in Karakalpakstan<\/strong>;

\n\u2022 Proficiency in Russian or English<\/strong>;

\n\u2022 Own a business that has been operating for at least 1\u20132 years<\/strong>;

\n\u2022 Have a laptop<\/strong> and stable internet access<\/strong>;

\n\u2022 Submit a completed application form<\/strong> and a motivation letter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
