The program has been administered in Uzbekistan since 2016.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The goal of the contest is to develop \u201cflexible\u201d skills among participants, inspire their interest in IT and entrepreneurship, and spread the word about female role models in STEM as well as teach them how to solve socially important problems using technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program in Uzbekistan will kick off with a large-scale event &#8211; Technovation Uzbekistan Launch Event 2021, which will bring together participants, mentors, partners, coordinators and contest organizers. The event will take place in the Ministry of Innovation Development.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program of the grand opening includes: addresses from featured guests, teams from Tashkent and Fergana valley, detailed explanation of the rules and regulations of Technovation as well as questions and answers session, during which the teams will receive comprehensive information about the contest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Technovation Girls Uzbekistan program includes 3 months of classes (February &#8211; April) that will happen in all regions of Uzbekistan. Due to quarantine limitations and for the benefit of the regional teams, most of the sessions will be held online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Webinars will be held by local and international experts on the following topics:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mobile app development (using App Inventor)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">writing business plan, social entrepreneurship<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">video recording and editing using smartphones<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">presentation building<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mentorship<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">career in IT<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sustainable Development Goals<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Special webinars with international experts from Oracle IT-company will also take place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program also includes seminars for mentors. A mentor could be a student, a teacher or IT specialist aged 19 and older.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Program finale in Uzbekistan is planned for May 2021. The best teams will receive prizes.
